My name is Sarahfae and I'm a Veggie-holic

It looks as though I'll be purchasing a new camera this weekend.
I'm sad because I've grown rather attached to my shitty little Fugifilm digi.

For now I'm left to tinker around with my camera phone pics (see above), with all efforts geared towards making them look artsy.

I've got a couple upcoming food projects that I'm REALLY excited about, and I'd love (and could greatly use) any feedback!

The first concept is an attractive(artsy) weekly menu in which I'll have a new (or revisited) item every day, I'll do a photo of the menu at the beginning of each week, and a photo montage of the meals that were made at the end of each week with corresponding recipes for (hopefully) everything.

I'm also getting geared up to start making monthly recipe cards that include a new *secret* recipe on pretty hand decorated card stock --- each month I'd like to do a drawing towards the end of each month and the winner will get the recipe card mailed to them! I'm thinking about having the option, for instance, if you really want the recipe that is featured in the "monthly drawing" then you could send me a self stamped and addressed envelope (with maybe a buck or two) and you'll have your own fancy "secret recipe" card sent to you too. I dunno - I'd love to hear thoughts on this. I just love sending and receiving snail mail --- there's something so romantic and magical about getting a letter that you can see, touch, and maybe even smell. :)

If any of you are crafty peeps and have resources to websites that offer free printable decals, borders, online scrap-booking stuff, cards, etc. I'd love the links!
