I can't believe he's already 6 months old. My little boy is growing up so fast...

Well, Elmer seems to be happy is his new home. Thankfully Lucy seems to be okay as well. The only cat that has reacted negatively is Silver, and this is very surprising because she's always so subdued. After the initial "introduction" of the two dogs Lucy and Elmer went right into play mode and tussled around for a while. I left to go for a quick run, and when I came back they we're both in their separate beds, chewing on tiny bones.

The Mom and Step-dad came by to welcome the lil' pup to his new home, and whie they were here I managed to get a couple of cute close-up shots of Elmer...so here they are, along with a shot of today's quick but yummy lunch.

We are for sure getting a puppy!

D hasn't seen the little guy yet, so we'll be meeting up with the owner early next week , and from there we'll set up when we get to take him home with us!!

I am SO ready for a puppy to be in our lives! I just can't wait to have him!!
I've been talking to Lucy all week about him, saying: "Are you ready to be a big sister?? Are you gonna love him, and play with him, and be best friendses?" Lucy usually responds by smothering me with kisses, jumping up and down, and/or peeing a little bit. Sometimes all three at the same time.



Oh I just can't wait!
We have the perfect name for him...but I'm not gonna tell anyone until he's come home with us.
