In other news:
I had the left elbow tattooed yesterday so that set me back a bit where the "Weekly Veggie" is concerned.
Off I go to play round 2 in the kitchen...wish me luck! I've got at least two more recipes I need to try out and perfect before Sunday.
I'd also like to take a shower sometime this century!

Vegetarian Times inspired me today!
Apr. 29th, 2010 06:06 pmOkay - I am SO excited about this one I just had to post the teaser in advance. I'll be posting it on Addicted to Veggies later, but you guys are getting the first look.
Today, my co-worker (as she always does every month) gave me her issue of Vegetarian Times since she was finished reading it. The cover instantly got me really excited --- I mean BOUNCY IN MY CHAIR excited!! I went home for lunch early, and new exactly what I was going to do. I started making the pizza dough, threw it in the dehydrator, had enough time to shovel some sort of lunch into my mouth, and ran out the door to get back to the office on time. When I got home from work I started prepping the rest of the "meal plan operation"...the results were so effing amazing I can barely stand it.
So here you go - Inspired VegTimes, and translated into a Raw Vegan by me:

All is well in the wacky land of Sarahfae.
I've been wrapped up in:
Girl-time, Housekeeping, Health up-keeping, Familial prioritizing, Twilight nerdiness, Birthday celebrations, Holiday decorating, Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathon planning, Christmas shopping, and all the while trying to stay "in touch" with myself.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tired. I'm kind of exhausted. Thankfully I have some pretty amazing people in my life, not no mention my obsessive hobbies that keep me grounded and in the clouds all at the same time...

Mashed Potato substitute to die for - and am totally having this as a part of my Thanksgiving Dinner this year:
Warm "Mashed" Parsnip/Zucchini, topped with broccoli (soaked in warm water) and dried crimini (soaked in warm water)
