Sew - a needle pulling thread...

Recently I noticed that Lucy had a few red sores on her neck, by where [I would assume] her collar was rubbing/irritating. I took her collar off immediately upon noticing the irratated red spots on her neck - and quickly hand stitched her a new, much softer collar, using some elastic, and a tacky velour leopard print cami that I've never worn [saving it for the fabric]. For a hand stitch, it turned out remarkably neat, and proffessional...reminding me that I need to tackle the piles of t's on my sewing machine table.
Right after I put the new collar on her she did the most adorable "Look at me, I'm pretty" pose - so I snapped a shoddy pic of her with my cell phone.

That's my little "oogie-woogie-boogie" girl!

Thankfully D and I don't plan on having kids - it's hard enough to keep up after three cats and a dog.
I think I'd loose my mind having a kid 24/7.
Cheers to the parents I know - and for being awesome and sane.
