This Friday D and I will be welcoming a new family member into our home.
A little lady that we're going to call Lucy. 
She's about five pounds, eight months old, and the best part is.... 
She's a doggy!!!

There will be many pictures - and I can't wait to post them!
But for now I'll leave you with the only one I have at the moment...

Meet Miss Lucy...

While we could have her tomorrow - we've decided that it would be best for everyone (the cats included) to wait until the end of the work week so we can administer our full attention to making sure she feels safe and secure in her new home.

Oh wow- so adorable!!! What a freakin' cute little pup! Can't wait to see her this summer.
I called you last night and couldn't get a hold of you and then got into a long conversation with my parents (when you called back) so I'll try calling you again tonight.

OMG she is SO adorable! The biggest, hugest congratulations! What a lucky dog, all of your animals always seem to be so happy!

yay! thank you so much! i'll be sure to keep you posted on the cats and how they react to Lucy. our friends have brought over their dog (Tipsy) to the house before, and the cats acted as if Tipsy was invisible - which was sort of weird because she was running all over the house as we threw a toy for her to fetch - and the cats didn't give a rip!
oh i can't wait until friday!!

Oh my goodness you must be sooo excited. I know how long you've wanted a dog for. She is so cute. Did you name her? What kind of dog is she? Details! Details! Congrats!
