As I mentioned earlier, I made scalloped potatos! (AND my number/symbol keys are working again!). Celebration time.
So without further ado...
So without further ado...
Because I'm horrible with writing my recipes down, I decided to just take a picture of the inredients used for the creamy "cheese" sauce. Oh, and I should mention that very rarely do I EVER use only a few ingredients in my sauces. I get pretty carried away with flavors and spices - and while this picture makes it look like a TON of different
things went into this scalloped potato sauce, I used most of these things very sparingly, in an effort to obtain the perfect "cheese" flavor. And let me tell you - it's effing amazing!
Not featured in this "ingredient" picture is:
-Follow Your Heart "cheddar" flavor cheese
-Brown rice flour (just a few tablespoons for thickening)
-Nutritional yeast
-Raw cane sugar
-Sea Salt
