A real life treasure chest!!

Hi!

( I found the most AMAZING chest at the Henderson Center Antique and Rummage side-walk sale today!!!  )

And it was only 30-freaking bucks. At first D shook his head "no" when he saw it....but -to all my lady friends out there- you know what it's like when a woman has made her mind up... *wink* 
He now agrees that it fits perfectly in our house.
Is it horrible of me to be in love with a piece of furniture?

I also found the perfect turquoise (one of my favorite colors) porcelain tea-pot. D bought three more pieces of cast-iron cook-ware, adding to his growing collection.

Tomorrows chores will include cleaning out our cubbards, getting rid of a bunch of pots and pans (since they're almost all replaced with cast iron), and Autumn cleaning.

I'm glad Autumn is here. In spite of the very warm and sunny weather we've been having it does feel like the Fall season is upon us. I can't wait for Halloween, and Thanksgiving, and then my  birthday!!
