When the sis and I headed to Brookings (two weekends ago) I hauled along a massive amount of food so we (myself mostly) could resist the temptation to eat out. For it only being my second time traveling while eating a mostly raw-food diet I think it was a success. Rae laughed at me while I excitedly ran around the produce section of the local market, not wanting to miss a thing - and shouting out meal ideas at random.

First - a plate of red and yellow bell peppers, roma tomatoes, and spiral cut zucchini.

Romaine lettuce wraps...

Topped with mustard avodaco dip, and raw cheeze powder.
YUM!

Fruit salad: Mango, Kiwi, Strawberry and Banana.

Raw ravioli!
For the "pasta": Thinly cut daikon radish
For the filling: Raw corn finely diced (press away as much of the liquid from it that you can), very finely chopped yellow bell pepper, and an equal amount of raw sunflower parm (ground sunflower seeds with nut.yeast and salt). Mix well - or pulse in processor. Sandwich about 1 tsp of corn-cheeze filling in between two daikon radish slices. Drizzle a tangy viniagrette (or marinara) over the top and enjoy.

Corn guacamole...

Avocado, Corn, Red bell pepper, Sun-dried tomato - dash of braggs aminos, agave, cracked pepper.

On top of Zucchini "pasta" with a sprinkle of nut.yeast.

The End.
