Childhood Cereal

Mmmmmmmm!!

This morning's breakfast reminded me of my favorite Childhood cereal.
I was a weird kid...I liked fiber when other kids liked sugar bombs...

One things that I loved about this cereal was the very slightly sweet flavor, the main flavor being crunchy yummy corn bran tastiness. 
The only downside was how gross and soggy the cereal would end up if you didn't eat it fairly quickly.

The Granola I made recently, seen above (out of my failed 'Oatmeal' Almond Cookies) really reminded me of my childhood favorite cereal...which is kind of weird because I can't even remember when the last time was that I even ate a bowl of store bought cereal.
5 years maybe? 
Either way, I plan on sharing my granola recipe just as soon as I have it written down. It's not easy to give a recipe for failed cookies that turn into granola, so for now I'm enjoying my recipeless granola, and when I run out I'll make another big batch and write down the recipe for you guys.
