Sick, sick, and more sick

The last 48-72 hours have been SO thrilling. Seriously. You'd think my life was an action/suspense movie...
But I digress, seriously.
What have I done? You really want to know?
Well, the list is pretty long, so hold onto your spectacles...

I now give you the goings-on of a sick and lonely housewife:

- Tooooooo much TV. You name it I've probably watched it. My guilty pleasures: Chelsea Lately, Queer Eye, MTV True Life, Ghost Hunters, The freaking Critics Choice Awards [Help me - I'm loosing my mind] Drake and Josh, Degrassi [I think I'm being too honest], Iron Chef, Ace of Cakes, The Graham Norton Show, What I Like About You...oh dear...I think I should just stop this now.

- Movies movies and more movies. And you thought I didn't have enough time in the day for all of that TV.
Freedom Writers [Really good - it made me want to be a teacher]
Enchanted [Really cute - I got choked up at the end. Maybe it was just my fever]
Penelope
Factory Girl [This movie made me want to read up on Andy Worhol - it also made me hate Sienna Miller. She looks nothing like Edie Sedgwick - okay, maybe just a litlle bit]
The Philadelphia Story [One of D's thoughtful Xmax presents to me]
Howl's Moving Castle [This one ranks up there with some of my favorite flicks to date --- thanks to my little sis for introducing me to Hayao Miyazaki]

- Pilates. In spite of my fever yesterday I managed to get in a Bun and Thigh work out. Happily I did it with much more ease this afternoon.

- Cleaning. Yes, even though I'm sick and fairly miserable I can't help but notice the dust accumulating on the many ledges of my home.

Tomorrow my sweet little sister gets to hang out with her sick big sister. The plans are to eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies, drink copious amounts of hot tea with lemon and raw honey, have a mini "in home" spa night , and watch these movies [none of which I've seen yet]:
