We went to the flea-mart today, in search of treasures!
And I'm so excited about what we found!! D bought a really gorgeous cast-iron stew pot with a nice lid, and a handle that makes it able (with the right set up) to be hung above a camp fire. He also found a little cast-iron egg pan too. While I'm not planning on using them (probably ever), it's still so nice to have such pretty pieces of cook-wear.

And I found....

Yay! These babies are going in frames, and hung up in my comic-book spare bedroom!


Jewelry! Pretty, pretty jewelry --- this has to be my favorite thing about treasure hunting at the flea-mart, yard sales, and thrift stores. I love adding to my fun and funky pendant collection.

And last night's dinner...

Now I'm off to clean the house and get ready for the b-day poker night we're hosting at our house for one of D's friends.

i miss the ghetto one too! i think/believe that redwood acres hosts the flea-mart every month (first Sunday). it may be every other month - but the way this year is flying by i can't remember!
