It's super chilly and stormy outside - and I'm fittingly getting a head-cold...after avoiding it for way too long. Blech.
Oh, I forgot to mention that it snowed over the weekend. Sunday D and I decided to stay in and be couch potatoes, but peering out of our living room window I couldn't help notice how the rain looked more like flakes...
"I think it's snowing outside Damieon!"
We averted to little kids and went for a drive - enjoying the weather, and ending up at our friends house, cuddled up in front of their wood stove and enjoying a nice bowl of soup with good company.

One of the gifts D bought me for Christmas was Alicia Keys new album "As I Am"...which I didn't like as much as I anticipated (aside from her two hit singles), but over the last few days I've been playing it in my car's stereo...
and I am IN LOVE with the stucture of "I Need You". If you appriciate a well produced song, the way this woman formats the verse, chorus, refrain...it's just incredible, and nothing short of inspiring. While I can't say much for the complexity of her lyrics, it's refreshing to hear music that is poppy, and still very rich.
Ah, who am I kidding - Alicia is hot.
